The plan

One direction for the whole offer, then the table of contents — who produces each section, and where it stands.

The plan sits between the Decision gate and the writing. You first settle what holds for the whole offer, then confirm the list of sections to produce.

Your directions for the whole offer

A single direction drives the entire offer, and Clarido follows it in every section it writes. It proposes one to start with, yours to rewrite in your own words. The ? in the header shows what it rests on: what the RFP expects, a mandate you have already delivered, a gap positioning flagged. Each of those three sentences appears only if the fact exists.

Your text saves as you write. Go back to Clarido's proposal stays available as long as you have your own version — including when you have emptied the box, because leaving it blank is a direction too: "no instruction".

The proposed table of contents

Each section fits on one row, and the row answers four questions.

  • Origin — RFP when the RFP requires it, with its quote, clickable to see the passage; template otherwise.
  • Produced by — Clarido writes, you insert, you supply, you write, a tool proposes, or the workshop builds.
  • State — what is left to do: "3 people selected", "6 phases", "no document", "ready to generate". An ordinary section shows nothing, and that is an answer.
  • The count, above, says how many sections you have and how many the RFP requires.

Below the row appears whatever needs a gesture: the people and projects you commit to, a gap named with the action that closes it, a document you have just deposited. A piece attached at positioning afterwards is offered there, to Add or dismiss.

Context documents

The client's strategic plan, a study, your notes. Clarido will use them to build your methodology, without drawing requirements from them or keeping them in your library. Each document states its provenance, client or firm: Clarido infers it, change corrects it.

What you can do

  • Rename, reorder, add or remove a section. A removal is never final right away: the row gives way to a reminder, and Undo puts it back in place.
  • Attach the people and projects cited.
  • Settle each item the RFP requires that your plan does not carry, with Add to plan or Set aside.
  • Start the first draft with Start writing. A section already written is never overwritten.

When the RFP awards to the lowest compliant bidder, the screen lists The required items instead of sections to write.

What Clarido keeps

Your offer-wide direction, the people and projects attached, and your answer to each required item stay with the submission. Building the plan again leaves them untouched.

Next step

Start writing takes you to The draft. The methodology is built in Methodology.
