Past Projects

Past Projects is the library of your firm's delivered work. Each record describes one engagement, who delivered it, and what you are allowed to say about it.

What it's for

An evaluator judges your experience on three or four references. A library that is kept current lets Clarido put forward the right ones, with exact facts, instead of the ones somebody happens to remember.

Adding or importing

Add a project offers three routes: Manual entry, Upload a document (Word or PDF, Clarido pulls the records out), and Upload an Excel file. For the spreadsheet, Download Excel template gives you the model. Clarido then reads your headers and shows Map Your File's Columns, where you confirm each mapping before Run import.

Anything arriving from a document or a spreadsheet lands as Draft. A banner invites you to Review now, where Clarido separates genuinely new records from likely duplicates and has you decide before anything is written. Publish validates, Discard drops it.

Select mode acts on several records at once: Change sector, Edit fields ("Set" replaces, "Add" appends), Publish, or Delete. If your firm tracks data of its own, Manage fields adds columns for the whole organization.

What Clarido does with it

On a proposal's Positioning tab, Clarido crosses the tender against this library: each of the client's expectations is matched to the past work that answers it, and a project's name is itself the link to its record. Where the library covers nothing, the screen says so rather than showing you an empty panel.

Good to know

• On a record, Team on this project links the people who delivered it, with their Project role and Allocation. Add a former contributor creates a name-only entry for someone who has since left, badged Former and never proposed on a new bid.
• Can you name this client in your proposals? governs reuse. A project still in Draft, or marked No — client declined, stays browsable in the library, but Clarido will not put it forward as a reference.
• How can this project be reused? decides how it is presented, from Use as-is (real client + details) through to Hide client name only.
• Projects spotted on your team's CVs land in Projects spotted on CVs. You add the ones your firm delivered and ignore the rest.
