Documents

The proposal's file deposit — the RFP, its annexes and its addenda, and what Clarido read in them.

The Documents screen keeps every file of the RFP in one place and shows what Clarido read in them. You open it from the Documents chip in the context bar at the top of the proposal.

What you see

At the top, the open document with its name, its original filename, its date, its size and its type. The Main document badge marks the RFP that Clarido reads the dossier around. With several files, tabs move from one to another.

In the middle, the document as it is. On the right, the proposal's Requirements, with those of the open document brought forward. Clicking a requirement highlights its passage, and selecting a passage offers to add it as a requirement.

While a file is being read, the Reading requirements banner tracks progress.

What you can do

Upload adds a file once you pick its type, or text through Paste text.... Accepted formats are .pdf, .docx, .xlsx, .pptx, .txt and .md, up to 50 MB. A refused file is flagged, and the others still go through.

Mark as main document makes the open document the main RFP. Only one document holds that role, and a new file never takes it away. Without one, the screen shows No main document.

For a document filed as RFP or Meeting Notes, the type can be switched between This is the RFP and These are internal notes. Notes yield no requirements, no summary and no admissibility conditions. A document filed as Other carries the Outside the dossier badge, and Clarido never reads it as the client's words.

Stop interrupts a read in progress, and the work done so far is lost. When nothing in the RFP could be read, the Reading the RFP stopped banner offers Read it again whenever a new attempt can succeed. When it reads The document could not be read, replace the file, for instance with an unprotected PDF.

What Clarido keeps

The main document, its annexes and its addenda are read as the client's words, Excel files included. Their requirements land on the Requirements screen with their original citation.

An addendum opens with Review Changes, over the screen you are on. The changes sorts them by what they can cost (Submission and eligibility, Evaluation, Scope of the mandate, For information), and you accept or ignore each change there is to apply. See the passages shows the addendum next to the RFP clause it changes. Your sections then lists the written sections it touches, with Clarido's reading, and you pick Apply the edit, Keep my text or Confirm, nothing to change. What the addendum changed sums up the application, and Undo the application reverses it. Answers to questions apply themselves, and See what changed opens the same review.

Next step

After an addition, the parcours screens it affects say so, and Update everything re-reads what moved once Clarido has finished reading the RFP. Your texts and your decision stay as they are.
