Past Proposals

The Past Service Proposals page holds the proposals your firm has already submitted. Clarido reads them, and you decide item by item what enters your library.

What it is for

This is the highest-payoff deposit you can make, because a single file already carries your firm profile, your team, your projects, your methodology and your Word layout. Once filed, those items serve every proposal that follows, not only the one they came from.

Adding or importing

Import opens a window where you can Drag and drop a file here or browse your files. The accepted formats are Word (.docx) or PDF.

Clarido then shows Analyzing... and spells out what it is doing, from reading the document through to pulling out the reusable content. Allow 2 to 5 minutes for a full proposal. You can leave the page open; it refreshes on its own.

If the reading fails, the row shows Analysis failed. For a stubborn PDF, the screen suggests converting it to Word before trying again.

The title and the client can be corrected straight from the list.

What Clarido does with it

The proposal's detail page opens on the question What Do You Want to Import Into Your Library?. You tick what you want, and the Where Imported Items Land panel names each destination.

• Firm profile, into your Company page.
• Team members, into your Team library.
• Past projects, into your Projects references.
• Methodology, into your Methodology Library.
• Word template, into a new Organization Template with cover, styles, headers and footers.

Nothing is imported until you click the import button. Skip for now lets you decide later, and the Not Imported Yet panel reminds you what you set aside.

Further down, Imported Sections shows how Clarido split the source document. For a Word file, the Document Layout zone says whether the styling is Reusable and offers Reuse this layout for my organization.

Good to know

Clarido will not recreate a team member or a project that is already in your library. The import summary reports it as already present instead.

Once the import is done, the page switches to Reference View. It explains what was extracted, and edits happen wherever each item landed.
