Export to Word

When the proposal is ready, the Export button at the top of the screen opens Export the Service Offer. This is where the work leaves Clarido, formatted in your firm's Word template.

What it's for

Clarido doesn't replace Word, it hands the work over to it. The export produces the full Service Proposal, sections in order, ready to read through and submit.

The dialog says Choose a format. Any unsaved edits are saved automatically before export., so there is nothing to save before you click.

How to export

Pick Word, the final formatted deliverable. Under Template, choose your firm's template or No template (Clarido default) if you haven't uploaded one yet. Export builds the file and downloads it.

The InDesign format hands over the text to place in an InDesign template (see "Export to InDesign"). The Text for an AI assistant format prepares the same offer as structured text you can paste into the assistant of your choice. You tick what the text should carry with it — Instructions for the assistant, Include the analysis context, Include team CVs and Document header. Download the file or Copy to clipboard finishes the job.

The Methodology group serves a different need. Methodology plan for team review produces a Word document your team can mark up before drafting, and Save to the library keeps the plan for a future proposal.

What Clarido puts in the document

The content comes from your sections exactly as you left them, with no rewriting on the way out. Word CVs attached to team members are inserted in full, with their original formatting, wherever the proposal refers to them. A CV that can't be found or is too heavy leaves a note in its place rather than a silent gap.

The template supplies the rest — fonts, heading styles, headers and footers, page setup.

Good to know

Templates live in My Content, under Document template. New template accepts .docx files, and Set as Default decides which one the export offers first. You can also upload a past proposal there, since Clarido strips the body and keeps the layout.

Always read the file in Word before you submit it. Fine formatting and final wording stay your work, and that's where they get done.
