Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-02-27
Welcome to Clarido. By using our service, you agree to these terms. They're written in plain language so you can understand your rights and obligations.
1. What is Clarido
Clarido is a cloud-based software (SaaS) that helps businesses analyze RFPs and related documents. Our artificial intelligence extracts requirements, organizes them, and helps you prepare responses faster.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account and password secure. Don't share your credentials. If you think your account has been compromised, contact us immediately. Each user must have their own account.
3. Your documents
Your documents belong to you. We don't use them for any purpose other than providing you the service. We don't sell your data. We don't use it to train AI models. When you delete a document, it's removed from our systems according to our data retention policy.
4. AI processing
To analyze your documents, we send them to third-party AI providers (such as Google Gemini or Anthropic Claude). These providers process your data solely to perform the requested analysis and do not retain it beyond processing. We choose providers that meet high privacy standards.
5. Acceptable use
Use Clarido legally and respectfully. Don't attempt to: circumvent your plan limits, access other users' data, intentionally overload our systems, or use the service for illegal activities.
6. Payment and billing
Paid plans are billed according to the terms chosen at signup. Prices may change with 30 days' notice. You can cancel your subscription at any time — it stays active until the end of the paid period.
7. Free trial
The free trial lets you test Clarido with limits (number of projects, documents, and users). No credit card is required. Data created during the trial is kept if you upgrade to a paid plan.
8. Service availability
We do our best to keep Clarido available at all times, but we don't guarantee 100% uptime. Planned maintenance may occur and we'll notify you in advance when possible.
9. Limitation of liability
Clarido is a decision-support tool. AI-generated analyses must be verified by a human. We are not responsible for decisions made based on the service's output. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For significant changes, we'll notify you by email at least 30 days in advance. If you continue using the service after the change, you accept the new terms.
11. Termination
You can close your account at any time. We may also terminate your access for violating these terms, with reasonable notice unless the violation is severe. Upon termination, you can export your data for 30 days.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and Canada. Any disputes will be submitted to the courts of the district of Montreal.
