Do I need to set everything up before creating my first proposal?
No. You can drop an RFP in your very first minute with Clarido, and the proposal opens normally.
That said, Clarido drafts from what your firm has already delivered, so an empty library produces generic text. The useful minimum is three deposits: the Firm Profile, a few engagements under Past Projects, and two or three resumes under CVs & profiles. The Home screen names what is missing under Your library.
Why are some buttons disabled after I sign up?
Because your email address is not confirmed yet. Hover the greyed-out button and a tooltip says so.
Open the confirmation email and click the link; the buttons unlock right away. If you cannot find it, the banner at the top of the app offers Resend link.
Does Clarido work for a private RFP, not just public tenders?
Yes. Clarido detects the type of every file you drop and adapts how it reads it, whether that is a formal public solicitation or a looser client brief.
When there is no document at all, start from your own notes with or paste text. Clarido will tell you it is reading them as internal notes, because it then draws no requirements, no summary and no admissibility conditions from them. If it really is an RFP, It's an RFP corrects that reading before the analysis runs.
Can I add documents after starting the proposal?
Yes, at any time, from the Documents tab. An annex is read like any other file and its requirements join the list.
An addendum goes through a review first. Clarido compares it with what already exists and shows every change, marked New, Modified or Cancelled, next to its source quote. You decide one by one with Accept or Ignore, then apply what you accepted.
Can several people work on the same proposal?
Yes. Under Settings, the Members section is where you invite colleagues with Invite, give them the Admin or Member role, and track Pending invitations. How many seats you get depends on your plan.
Everyone reaches the same proposals. While one person is writing a section, it shows as Locked to the others, with their name, so two people never overwrite the same text.
Can Clarido miss requirements?
Yes, it happens, above all on implicit requirements, on cross-references from one clause to another, and on badly formatted documents.
Clarido reads every RFP twice. A first pass extracts what it finds; a second pass rereads the document already knowing what was caught and hunts for what was missed. Your own review is still needed.
What if a requirement is miscategorized or wrong?
In the Requirements tab, the pencil corrects a requirement's wording, and the handle on its left drags it into another category.
A badly extracted requirement can be rejected. It stays visible, struck through, in its place in its category, so nothing disappears quietly. The Excel export leaves it out. And Add Missed Requirement is there for what Clarido did not see, with the passage from the document to back it up.
Are results different for an English document?
No. Clarido reads French and English with the same care, and detects each file's language when you drop it.
That language is the one used for drafting, independently of the interface language. So you can work in English inside Clarido and produce a service proposal in French.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, 14 days, no credit card.
The trial is meant for a full tour of the flow, so it is deliberately bounded: two proposals, and four documents per proposal. Proposals are counted as they are created, so deleting one does not free up its slot. Deleting documents is not available during the trial either. If you need a little more room to evaluate, write to us — we can allocate extra proposals to your account. Plans and their limits are listed at https://clarido.ca/pricing.
Are there per-use fees, per RFP analyzed?
No. You pay a subscription, not a price per analysis.
Each plan includes a number of proposals per month and a number of user seats. Clarido warns you as you approach the limit, and you then choose between changing plan and waiting for the next cycle.
How does billing work?
The subscription is monthly or annual, with annual costing less. You can change plan at any time, and the change takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
It is all handled under Settings, in Plan & Billing: the Current plan, the Status, seats in use, and Manage billing for the payment method, the invoices and cancellation.
Are my documents secure?
Traffic to and from Clarido runs over HTTPS (TLS), and each organization's data is isolated. Every request is filtered by organization, so a user only ever sees their own firm's projects, documents and extractions.
On the way in, Clarido validates each file's real type rather than its extension alone, caps size at 50 MB, and stores files under generated identifiers. The database lives on a private network and is not exposed to the public internet.
Disk-level encryption at rest is on our roadmap and is not in place yet. If that is a requirement for your organization, tell us before you subscribe.
Does Clarido use my documents to train models?
No. The providers running the models behind Clarido contractually commit to not training their models on data sent through their commercial API.
On our side, request content is not stored in production, and any log that would carry it is purged after 48 hours. Only metadata is kept, such as token counts, response times and status, for cost tracking.
Where is my data hosted?
On servers whose administrative access is restricted by key, with the database isolated on a private network.
Your document content passes through our model providers to be read, and that processing happens in the United States. If your organization has data residency requirements, write to us at info@clarido.ca before subscribing.
How long are my documents kept?
While a proposal is active, the original document stays available inside Clarido. As soon as you move it to a terminal state, won, lost, abandoned or archived, a 7-day counter starts, after which the original file and its parsed content are deleted.
A safety net deletes files attached to no active proposal after 90 days. Generated Word and PowerPoint documents are kept for 90 days and can always be regenerated. If you delete a document yourself, everything derived from it goes immediately.
Extracted requirements, analyses and your library are untouched by that cleanup; they live as long as the proposal does.
