Schedule

The schedule opens from The draft, on section 9. It reads the phases of your methodology plan, takes the duration written on each one, and derives a full calendar from them. You correct what is off; the rest follows.

What Clarido calculates, and what it assumes

Two blocks separate facts from assumptions, deliberately. The top line carries only what the RFP imposes: the submission date, a contract start or end if they are required. The panel below, "What Clarido assumed", carries everything else — the gap between the bid and the kickoff, the client's validation weeks, the phases run in parallel, the blackout periods. Each line says what it touches, and a change tells you where the end of the mandate lands. An amber dot marks what Clarido assumed. A value you type loses it, and "Keep…" carries it into your next bids.

Weeks start on Monday and end on Friday. A date you set keeps its exact day.

The chart

Above the table, a chart shows the sequence of phases, and their overlaps (hatched). It is a view of the table: you correct the row, the chart follows. Below three phases or beyond twenty-four it is not shown.

The same chart heads section 9, in the draft and in the Word document, redrawn from the inserted table. If a date in that table no longer reads, the section goes out without a figure: never a wrong figure.

Correcting a row

The Start column is yours: the date you set is kept, and the following phases move around it. "Back to Clarido's calculation" removes that one date, not the others.

The Duration column does not behave the same way, and it is worth knowing why: it belongs to the methodology plan. Correcting it here changes the phase itself, so the workshop will show the same value, and every section derived from the plan will report that it changed. One duration per phase, one owner.

Saving your answers

"Save these answers" deposits your usual values at the firm level. Your next bids will start from those rather than from Clarido's defaults. Pinned dates, blackout periods and committee sessions are not deposited: they belong to this bid alone.

Inserting into the draft

The button saves, then writes the table into section 9, where it stays editable. If the RFP carries two submission dates — an addendum has often added one — insertion waits until you confirm which one applies. A calendar anchored on an unconfirmed date would be an invention.

A date you had set on a phase that later left the plan is not lost: it is kept aside, outside the calendar, under the name it carried.
